RHT History
Buzz Thielemann founded RHT Energy Solutions in 1999, after serving with Pacific Power and Light for 27 years. Since the beginning Buzz has used his extensive knowledge of the energy industry to assist businesses in becoming more profitable. He does this by working to find energy and other utility savings while improving production efficiency. Buzz also broke new ground by becoming the first energy aggregator in the state of Oregon.
Since starting business in 2003 RHT has been responsible for identifying energy efficiency measures that will continue to save over 150 million kilowatt-hours of electrical energy each year - an amount equal to about 13,000 homes!
When RHT Energy Solutions works with a client, the objective is to improve their financial "bottom line" with energy saving solutions. This may be with alternative billing mechanisms, metering, different energy sources, or with more efficient equipment. Our clients include some of the most well-known companies in Oregon, and they have good things to say about our work!
