Director of Industrial Efficiency
Scott is a licensed Professional Engineer in both Oregon and California, holding a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland. He is also accredited as a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers.
As Director of Industrial Efficiency Scott provides review and oversight to RHT staff energy analysts. Scott also performs commercial and industrial energy audits including managing individual industrial accounts to improve production efficiency and lower energy costs for companies including Desert Lake Technologies, Erickson Air-Crane, Flakeboard, Harry and David, Murphy Company, and Weyerhaeuser. He has been involved in energy conservation projects since 2006, when he began promoting energy-efficient process equipment to industrial accounts in Oregon and northern California.
Prior to joining RHT, Scott was the head design engineer at Areva T&D designing distribution, substation, and station type transformers. He was responsible for material forecasting, electrical component design, and preliminary mechanical design. Scott also worked at Intel in the Server Architecture Lab as an engineering technician level 2 performing environmental testing on motherboards and processors.
