Mechanical Engineer / Energy Analyst
Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. Ray is primarily responsible for conducting energy analysis studies, collecting data, and writing reports for energy conservation projects at industrial facilities.
Prior to joining RHT, Ray worked as a Plant Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor for Georgia-Pacific's Chemical Division. Ray also has extensive experience in project management and machine design working for 3M Company in precision web and film coating and converting. In addition, Ray has experience designing wood products machinery such as veneer lathes, saws, feeders, panel stackers and hoists. Early in his career Ray gained experience designing pneumatic and mechanical conveying systems and components, including high pressure hydraulic design and testing, Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) design and testing, log fork design and testing and custom steel and sheet metal fabrication.
